The ScummVM Team is pleased to announce that Eagle Eye Mysteries and Eagle Eye Mysteries in London are ready for public testing!

In each case, you accompany either Jake or Jennifer Eagle, the teenage twin detectives behind the Eagle Eye Detective Agency. Visit locations throughout Richview, question suspects, spot the details that don't quite fit, and record every clue in TRAVIS (Text Retrieval And Video Input System). Follow the evidence, identify the culprit, and solve the mystery. As you progress, cases become increasingly challenging, and each one can be replayed with a different outcome.

In the sequel, the twins cross the Atlantic, leaving Richview behind for the streets of London and a fresh collection of increasingly difficult mysteries. The new cases revolve around a mysterious thief known as Macavity, whom you'll need to unmask before returning home.

Published by EA*Kids and developed by Stormfront Studios, the Eagle Eye games sit in that rare corner of educational software that took its own genre seriously: a real deduction game, with suspects who lie, clues that only matter in hindsight, and mysteries that expect you to keep notes. Each case is self-contained, and there are plenty of them.

For this testing period, ScummVM supports the Eagle Eye Mysteries DOS releases, in English and Spanish, and the Macintosh release and the Eagle Eye Mysteries in London DOS release. The Macintosh version of Eagle Eye Mysteries in London is still under development and is not part of this testing round.

As usual, you will need the original game data files to play. To join the test, grab a recent daily development build, add your game directory to ScummVM, and play through the games. Please report any problems you encounter on our issue tracker, following our bug submission guidelines. Screenshots and saved games demonstrating an issue are always helpful.
